LaShawn Merritt is the favorite going into 400 meter final at the 2012 US Olympic Track and Field Trials. Merritt will be running out of lane 6 with Bryshon Nellum, the former phenom, to his left in Lane 7. 2004 Gold Medlaist and Silver in the 2008 Games. It will be more of a struggle for Wariner this year as he is running out of lane 2 trying to make his third Olympic team.
