The action-packed 2016 Kansas Relays begin Wednesday morning with the multis and wrap on Saturday night with a four-way college dual meet. You can watch the meet LIVE on FloTrack starting at 4:15PM Central on Thursday continuing at 9:00AM on Friday, and from 10:00AM to 3:30PM on Saturday. All races from the meet will be archived on FloTrack.
It's an unusually busy meet, with robust high school, college, and professional fields. Here are top events and athletes to watch:
Pro Events
1. Men's 400m hurdles
Who: Michael Stigler
When: 1:45PM Friday live on FloTrack (prelims), 6:45PM Saturday (final)
Why: Stigler was the best 400m hurdler in the college system the last two years, and this is his first year as a professional. He won NCAAs in 2015 and was fourth at USAs last summer.
2. Men's hammer
Who: AG Kruger
When: 12:00PM Thursday
Why: Kruger is a longtime stalwart in the American throws scene. He's competed at five world championships and the last three Olympics and has a real shot to make a fourth this summer. Also, he's from the same town in Iowa as legendary coach and wrestler Terry Brands, who our sister site FloWrestling produced a feature-length documentary on. (Thanks, Wikipedia! Thanks, FloWrestling!)
3. Men's discus
Who: Mason Finley, Russ Winger, Brian Williams
When: 5:00PM Friday
Why: Finley had the fourth-best discus throw by an American last year, Williams (of Iowa Western Community College) has the second-best throw by any collegian this year, and Winger made the world championships last year.
College Events
4. Women's pole vault

And Logue -- the biggest surprise at NXN per a third-place finish -- has run 2:15, 4:57 and 10:41 this year. This is her first major race since then. The winner of Saturday's race will automatically qualify for the Adidas Dream Mile.
7. Girls javelin/discus/shot put
