We developed a rating system to analyze and rank the best mid-distance/distance athletes from the class of 2016. Our analysis is based off of four criteria: 800m PB, Mile PB, Two-Mile PB and 2015 cross country performance.

Boys FloRating System:
6 FloRating = Sub 1:48.0 -or- 4:00 -or- 8:43
5 FloRating = Sub 1:49.0 -or- 4:02 -or- 8:46
4 FloRating = Sub 1:50.0 -or- 4:04 -or- 8:50
3 FloRating = Sub 1:50.5 -or- 4:06 -or- 8:54
2 FloRating = Sub 1:51.0 -or- 4:08 -or- 8:58
1 FloRating = Sub 1:52.0 -or- 4:10 -or- 9:02
Girls FloRating System:
6 FloRating = Sub 2:03 -or- 4:37 -or- 9:56
5 FloRating = Sub 2:04 -or- 4:39 -or- 10:00

4 FloRating = Top 5 FL -or- Top 3 NXN
3 FloRating = Top 10 FL -or- Top 5 NXN
2 FloRating = Top 15 FL -or- Top 7 NXN
1 FloRating = Top 20 FL -or- Top 10 NXN
Each athlete is scored a total FloRating from 0 to 24. A 24 FloRating is the max score one can achieve, and means he/she scored six points in all four categories: 800m, Mile, Two-Mile, and cross country.
