FloTrack To Stream 2017 Berlin Marathon In More Than 100 Countries
FloTrack will live stream the 2017 Berlin Marathon in more than 100 countries.
FloTrack will live stream the highly anticipated Berlin Marathon in more than 100 countries on Sunday, September 24, as three of the fastest marathoners in world history in Eliud Kipchoge, Kenenisa Bekele and Wilson Kipsang attempt to break the world record. Viewers from countries including the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Kenya will be able to watch the live stream with a FloPRO subscription. A full list of countries is included below.
Dennis Kimetto of Kenya set the current world record of 2:02:57 at the Berlin Marathon in 2014.
The 2017 event will truly be a meeting of the best marathoners in the world. Kipchoge ran 2:00:25 in May at the Nike-sponsored Breaking2 test run, which does not count for record-keeping purposes due to use of pacers throughout the race, but certainly makes the 32-year-old seem capable of breaking Kimetto's mark.
Kipsang is a former world record holder, having run 2:03:23 to set the world standard at the 2013 Berlin Marathon just one year before Kimetto lowered the mark.
Bekele, the world record holder for 5K and 10K, ran 2:03:03 to win the 2016 Berlin Marathon, missing the world record by just six seconds.
