The 2023 AAU Track and Field Junior Olympics is on its way to Des Moines, Iowa, and here is what to know. 

Every year since 1967, the AAU hosts the Junior Olympic Games as one of the most competitive meets for young athletes around the country. Participants as young as 8-years old compete against the very best of their age division in sports like field hockey, swimming, trampoline, boys and girls wrestling as well as track and field.

AAU Track And Field Junior Olympics 2023 Schedule

The 2023 Junior Olympics Track and Field events start July 29. The events are set to begin daily at 9 a.m. EST through Aug. 5.

AAU Jr Olympics 2023 Location

This year the AAU Junior Olympics 2023 will be held at Drake Stadium, in Des Moines. This is the sixth time the games are coming to Iowa. 

Most recently the Truist Stadium at Greensboro, NC hosted the AAU Junior Olympics games. It is set to be the location for the 2024 AAU Junior Olympics.
