Here's what you need to know about the 2023 Division III Cross Country Championships on Nov. 18.
The 2023 NCAA Cross Country Division III Championships are Nov. 18 as the best runners from the division head to Pennsylvania to compete for a national championship.
Last year, Johns Hopkins won the women’s team championship, beating the University of Chicago. Kassie Parker of Loras won the race, beating St. Benedict’s Fiona Smith.
On the men’s side, MIT won the team championship, beating out Wartburg for the top finish. John Carroll’s Alex Phillip won the race, beating Christian Patzka of Wisconsin-Whitewater by three seconds.

Thirty-two teams are selected to participate in each championship. The top seven-person team automatically qualified from each of the 10 regions, for a total of 10 teams. Twenty-two additional teams are selected at-large.
Seventy individuals, the first seven student-athletes from each region who are not a part of a qualifying team, are selected to participate in each championship.

The championships will be at Big Spring High School in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
When Are the NCAA D3 Cross Country Championships 2023?
The championships are Nov. 18 starting at 11 a.m. EST. The men’s race will start at 11 a.m. and the women’s at noon.

The men’s and women’s races will stream live on NCAA.com.

The NCAA Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Division I National Championships are at Panorama Farms in Charlottesville, Virginia.
