Brooks inked three new members across its multi-level of teams on Friday, with BYU athlete Casey Clinger highlighting two NIL signings with the company, along with Georgetown athlete Chloe Scrimgeour

Clinger, 25, a two-time top 10 finisher at the NCAA Cross Country Championships who's anticipating a jump to the roads and marathon, will compete at the U.S. Olympic Trials this week in the men's 10,000 meters.

Clinger has clocked personal best times of 13:17.36 in the 5,000 meters and 27:57.90 for 10K.

"I'm thrilled to team up with Brooks as I continue competing for BYU," Clinger said in a release. "In some of my earliest running memories, I was wearing Brooks running shoes. It's rewarding to come full circle and partner with Brooks as I strive to achieve my running goals."

Clinger, considered one of the greatest high school runners in history after winning two Nike Cross Nationals titles in 2015 and 2016, has history with Brooks, competing at the organization's flagship high school event, Brooks PR, as a senior in 2017.

Brooks Inks A MAAC Legend

Teagan Schein-Becker, a former standout at Rider University and Pennsylvania native, joins the Brooks Beasts following career best performances of 2:00.54 in the 800m and 4:08.85 in the 1,500m.

The 24-year-old is slated to compete at the U.S. Olympic Trials in the 800m and 1,500m.

Schein-Becker reached the final of the women's 1,500m at the most recent NCAA Outdoor Championships and clocked her career best time at the NCAA East Regional. She's a multiple-time MAAC Outdoor champion across various distances and seasons.

"Their belief in my potential and unwavering support reflects our shared vision for success," she said. "As a Beast, I'm ready to chase greatness."

An NIL Deal For This Fast-Rising Georgetown Star

Scrimgeour is the third new member of Brooks headed to the Trials.

The Georgetown athlete and Idaho native, a five-time All-American who finished eighth at the NCAA Cross Country Championships in November, will compete in the women's 5,000 meters this week in Eugene.

With personal bests of 15:21.80 at 5,000 meters 32:29.44 for 10K, Scrimgeour has positioned herself as one of the top women's athletes in the NCAA.

In 2021, as a high school senior for Boise Capital, Scrimgeour competed at Brooks PR.
