The U.S. Track and Field team is absolutely tearing up the track in Paris, with 19 total medals across the competition and six golds.

On Wednesday, the biggest result came at 400 meters, where Kansas City resident Quincy Hall overcame three athletes in the final 50 meters to claim victory in the third-fastest time in American history.

From there, the U.S. team garnered a few more medals across the board.

FloTrack's Bryan Deibel was down in the mixed zone of Stade de France catching up with Olympians from all countries. Check out the top quotes from Wednesday.

Quincy Hall, Now One Of The Greatest American 400m Runners Of All-Time, Is A Quote Machine:

Cannot outrun a dog. The dog will chase you forever.

If you don't get far away enough, I'm gonna catch you. Every time.

I grind. I got determination. Anything that I can think of that's going to get me to that line, I think of it. All the hurt, all the pain.

When you have no food, you got to get your own food. No cafeteria. No study hall. None of that. You find out how to be a dog by yourself.

Kenneth Rooks On His Strategy In The 3K Steeplechase:

It's surreal. It was an amazing feeling to take the lead that last lap and to just let loose and go for it and realize that, like, I might actually win the thing for a second.

I tried to just focus on running the race, but I felt like there was an opportunity for me to possibly get on the podium, because the way I closed at USAs, I felt like, 'Man, if I close that same way at the Olympics, there's a chance I could get a medal.' The biggest thing was making sure I would be in the mix, so that I could be there when the closes were happening. I didn't know how everyone was going to close, so I was just focused on just trying to put myself in the best position I could to close the best I could and just give it everything I had. It worked out the way that it did.

Roje Stona On The Coaching Of Ryan Crouser, And How His Support Aided His Development:

Ryan Crouser is a great guy. He's the greatest shot putter of all time. To work with him, it's been a really good feeling. And I'm just looking forward to what the future holds.

Nina Kennedy On How She Had To Manage The Pole Vault Final:

They took 19 or 20 girls through to the final. That has never happened before, so I was a bit annoyed at first, but I really had to tell myself the winner of this competition will be the person that can maintain their focus for the longest. I took a little bit of a different approach. I was really trying to calm myself out there. I wasn't getting too amped up in the start. So I knew first attempt clearances at those high bars were going to take the gold. I put all my focus into that exact second, and that's how I won.

Katie Moon Had To Overcome Adversity In Pole Vault Final:

Brad always says, 'Expect anything to happen at a major championship.' You expect a championship for everything to be perfect and run smoothly. And more often than not, something like that happens. The standard broke. They had to fix it. Unfortunately, I do think it just kind of knocked the wind out of all our sails a little bit. I think we all probably could have jumped a little bit higher, but it's hard when you're at that high of a bar on your biggest poles to take a big break like that. I think that's probably why I ran through my second attempt. Coming in, I felt good but you have to be super dialed in at that point and I'm proud of myself for giving myself a good shot on my third attempt.

Chris Bailey On What It's Like To Be A Pro Now; Plus, Quincy Hall's Influence On Him:

Definitely it's a different experience, you know, compared to college, because I'm not peaking for four different championships. The Olympics was the main goal and I made it. I made the final in my first year as a professional, quote-unquote. I'm glad to be here. It's an honor.

He has pretty much taken me under his wing ever since last year in Budapest. He's been like a big brother for me, especially since we've been here. He's always looking out for me, making sure mentally I'm OK, physically I'm OK and emotionally I'm OK. To have him through my side through this whole process is great.

Alexis Holmes Is Focused On The 400m Women's Final:

I felt pretty good, but I'm not going to like, my mind was all over the place. The nerves and stuff. I definitely have to hone in and really, really focus for this final, because I know strategy is going to be a big part of it too.

Jaydon Hibbert On How Just Being In Paris Was A Success:

Trust me, I thought I wasn't going to make it today. Honestly, I don't want to say too much as for why, but, trust me, it's a blessing to be here today, qualifying for the Olympics. I just got the news today that I could compete from my doctor. It's kind of crazy. I just want to thank God.

CJ Allen On What He Needs To Fix In The 400mH To Become A Podium Threat:

Up until last year, it was the inability to make teams. I continually tried and tried and tried. And now, I know I can. And I do know I'm a medal contender. I truly believe and know that. I just have to figure out the right way to go about doing that. Obviously, make the finals at first, that next hurdle for me. So back to the drawing board and, you know, sitting down and figuring out what we did this season and how we can make changes for next year.

Karsten Warholm On How He Feels Heading Into The 400mH Final:

Especially two days ago, I got really good answers for my legs. Also today, but I was more focused on trying to not do too much today. There's an important final coming in two days. It's going to be good.

Bryce Hoppel Has High Hopes In 800m Final:

I was supposed to be going to Monaco. I was super excited for that, was pretty confident I was going to go 1:41 and break the American record and stuff. I just had some setbacks with illness and stuff. That was a little frustrating. But you know, we're going to make it happen here. It will be exciting to get those times running fast here at the Olympics.

Hobbs Kessler Overcame Tough Situation To Qualify For Semis In The 800m:

It was hard, that was pretty flat. I was going out on like three hours of sleep, so I did what I had to do to get through. So I'll be 100-percent for the semi, but that was dicey. Glad I'm on the other side.

Grant Fisher Prepared For Two Olympics:

After the 10K here, I took off to St. Moritz for a few days and back and, I wish I could have teleported there and back and not have to travel. But once I got up there, I was really happy just to be relaxed, out of the ruckus of Paris, re-set and just kind of be in a beautiful place, a beautiful setting and get my mind ready for the second meet in my eyes. The first meet was the 10K, the second meet is the 5K.

Morgan McDonald On When He Realized He Didn't Qualify For The 5K Final; Plus, Happiness For His Teammate Yared Nuguse:

Yeah, I did. I literally did, because I didn't see other all the other people on the outside. I thought I was, but I wasn't going to like celebrate early and I watched the names come up and then I saw ...I was surprised when I wasn't sixth, then I was surprised when I wasn't seventh and then I was surprised I wasn't eighth. I came out as ninth I think.

It was a funny one where like, that was right before I was trying to get ready for bed. So I was like watching it but trying not to get too hyped up but it definitely got me pretty hyped I will say.

Grace Stark On Keeping Her Hopes High:

I don't think the pressure is off. I always challenge myself to get better through each round and continue on what I've done in the past. So, I don't think the pressure is off. I just want to stay focused and know that I've made it here. Just let that continue.

Masai Russell On Being More Experienced After Last Year's World Championships:

When I came up here, like, in this kind of atmosphere last year in Budapest, I was like, shaking in my boots because I've never been in a stadium that big. I've never seen that many people. It was a whole shocker. So now it's like, it is what it is. Alright, let me line up and do what I do.
