FloTrack released its College XC Rankings presented by HOKA on Thursday, which predicts the full NCAA Cross Country Championships in 2024.

Doris Lemngole Is Next Up And No. 1 On FloTrack's Debut College XC Rankings

Doris Lemngole, the reigning national runner-up in cross country and the defending NCAA 3,000 meter steeplechase champion, begins the fall at No. 1 in our national cross country rankings.

In FloTrack's debut College XC Rankings presented by HOKA, Lemngole owns the top spot following a freshman season which saw her secure multiple second-place finishes at the SEC Championships, the NCAA Division I South Regional and the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships.

Lemngole's prolific results continued over the indoor and outdoor seasons, following with All-American finishes in the 3K and 5K indoors and a national championship in the 3K steeplechase outdoors in an NCAA record of 9:15.24.

Florida's Hilda Olemomoi, a top-five finisher from NCAAs last year -- and the teammate of Lemngole before she transferred to Florida -- enters ranked second, while Georgetown's Chloe Scrimgeour was third and Washington graduate transfer Amina Maatougg was fourth.

Oregon's Silan Ayyildiz, a transfer from South Carolina, enters ranked fifth, while Arkansas No. 1 Sydney Thorvaldson is sixth, Gonzaga's Rosina Machu is seventh, Northern Arizona's Elise Stearns and Karrie Baloga are eighth and ninth and Utah's Mckaylie Caesar is 10th.
