All eyes truly are on Berlin this weekend as this is the most likely marathon to hold a world record-breaking run as last year's winner on the female sign Tigist Ketema broke 2:11, the first woman to ever pass 2:14. The Berlin Marathon will start at 2:50 a.m. ET on Sunday, Sept. 29 with runners beginning in four different waves.

  • 2:50 a.m. ET - Elite
  • 2:56 a.m. ET - Wheelchair athletes
  • 2:59 a.m. ET - Handbikers
  • 3:15 a.m. ET - 4:30 a.m. ET - Start of the mass runs in four waves
