On Wednesday, meet organizers for the 2025 Prefontaine Classic announced the slate of Diamond League competitions set for the 50th edition of the meet to take place on July 5, 2025.

The Prefontaine Classic, held at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, will host 14 Diamond League events in 2025, along with a range of additional event programs. Non-Diamond League events will be announced at a later date.

What Events Will The 2025 Prefontaine Classic Include?

14 Diamond League events will be contested at the 2025 Pre Classic, with eight women’s disciplines and six events on the men’s side.

The women’s competition will feature the 100m, 800m, 1,500m, 5,000m, 3,000m steeplechase, long jump, discus and shot put. 

The men’s competition will include the 100m and shot put, along with the 200m, 400m, Bowerman Mile and 400m hurdles.
