Grand Slam Track League Signs Grant Fisher, Nikki Hiltz and Ronald Kwemoi

Grand Slam Track has announced the additions of Grant Fisher, Nikki Hiltz and Ronald Kwemoi as racers for the league’s Grand Slam events in 2025.

On Tuesday morning, the league announced that the three distance stars will be added to their lineup. All three competed at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Hiltz will race in the “short” distance events, while Ronald Kwemoi and Grant Fisher are the first two additions for Grand Slam Track to their long-distance category as the league continues to collect some of the world’s best runners for its 2025 debut.

Kwemoi and Fisher both competed in the Paris Olympics men’s 5,000m final. Kwemoi, representing Kenya, claimed the silver medal while Fisher, who also ran in the 10,000m, collected two bronze medals for Team U.S. in the events.

Fisher, born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, was raised in Grand Blanc, Michigan. A Stanford University product, Fisher has been one of the best American distance runners of his generation. On top of his two Olympic bronze medals, he also holds American records in the 3,000m (7:25.47) and 5,000m (12:46.96).

Hiltz, from Santa Cruz, California, has been one of the best American middle distance runners in recent years. They have won three U.S. titles and they currently hold the American record in the mile (4:16.35). Hiltz also won silver at the 2024 World Indoor Championships in the women’s 1,500m.

Kwemoi hails from Bungoma County, Kenya and is the Kenyan to sign with Grand Slam Track after earning his medal in Paris. He still holds the World U20 record in the 1,500m but has transitioned to longer distances in recent years.
