Tyreek Hill and Noah Lyles are reportedly slated to race in 2025 as part of a “Super Serious On Sight” series hosted by Terry Crews and fellow Super Serious co-founders.

As first reported by Ad Age, the race will supposedly be a part of Duael competition, a new track league set to feature head-to-head competition in an elimination-style tournament between Olympic racers and other professional athletes.

Crews and Super Serious are apparently partnering with Duael as the exclusive production partner, and as part of this agreement, they will host a “Super Serious On Sight” series.

According to the Ad Age report, Super Serious was connected with Olympic 100m champion Lyles after he signed to be part of an event. Crews told Ad Age that he is friends with Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, which led to Hill agreeing to race.

Details about the race and race distance have not yet been confirmed, though the race is slated for 2025.

How Did This Start?

The social media feud went viral after Miami Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill stated that he “would beat Noah Lyles” in a race in an interview on the Up & Adams Podcast. 

FloTrack then posted a quote graphic which went viral on Instagram in the running community, amassing a million impressions and sparking discussion about the topic.

About a week later, Hill made a post on X that read “Sign the contract and lock in that 50 yard race.”

What Is Super Serious?

Actor and television host Terry Crews launched the entertainment agency ‘Super Serious’ with co-founders Matt O’Rourke and Paul Sutton in 2023. The agency operates under the mantra that “Everything is Entertainment”.

Though the entertainment agency launched in 2023, they’re starting to make headlines now. The venture is focused on providing entertainment through features in all facets of media. This includes ads and commercials. Last summer Super Serious launched a 90-second commercial for Impossible Foods.

Who is Tyreek Hill?

A wide-receiver for the Miami Dolphins, Tyreek Hill is a Super Bowl champion, eight-time Pro Bowl selection and five-time First Team All-Pro athlete. He is commonly referred to as the fastest player in the NFL – and for good reason.

In high school, Hill ran 10.19 over 100m and 20.14 over 200m. He was a World Junior bronze medalist in the 200m and also claimed gold on the Team USA 4x100m World Junior team.

While he was certainly a star on the football field in college, Hill finished as the NJCAA Outdoor runner-up in the 100m while at Garden City Community College in 2013 and would also go on to place fifth in the 200m at the NCAA Indoor Championships in 2014 while at Oklahoma State.
