Grand Slam Track has announced another two additions to its 2025 lineup, officially signing Roshawn Clarke and Ackera Nugent as racers for it's upcoming Grand Slam events.

On Thursday morning, Grand Slam Track added the two Jamaican hurdlers after signing three distance running stars, Grant Fisher, Nikki Hiltz and Ronald Kwemoi on Tuesday Morning.

Nugent is expected to compete in the short hurdles division and Clarke will likely compete in the long hurdles.

Both hurdlers competed at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games and reached the final in their respective races.

Clarke is a rising star in the 400m hurdles. At the 2023 World Championships he set the U20 World Record in the 400m hurdles with his 47.34 run. At just 20 years old, he competed in the Paris Olympic final and is quickly rising to fame in Jamaica.

Nugent is a 100m hurdles specialist. In 2024, she won the Jamaican National Championship and set the Jamaican national record of 12.28 in the 100m hurdles. She then competed at the Rome Golden Gala later in the season and ran 12.24. With that run, she became the fourth-fastest women in event history.

"For me, it's all about growth," Nugent said. "I'm constantly looking for ways to get better, and Grand Slam Track gives me the platform to do just that. Racing at this level, over and over, against the best in the world, is what I've always wanted, and I'm ready to see how much more I can achieve."

What Is Grand Slam Track?

Grand Slam Track, created by four-time Olympic gold medalist Johnson, will feature four track events -- AKA Slams -- in 2025 where signed Racers and appearing Challengers will compete head-to-head in two events over the two-days Slams. Racers, including Kerley and Bednarek, will receive base compensation for competing in each Slam and can earn additional prize money based on their performances.

96 total athletes -- 48 Racers and 48 Challengers -- will compete in each Slam. Grand Slam has a reported prize pot of $12.6 million and the Category winners of Slam will win $100,000.
