Grand Slam Track League Signs Daniel Roberts and Jereem Richards
Grand Slam Track has announced the additions of Daniel Roberts and Jereem Richards.
Daniel Roberts and Jereem Richards are the latest athletes to join the Grand Slam Track roster. Roberts, the reigning Paris Olympics silver medalist, and Richards, a Paris Olympics 400m finalist, strengthen the league's depth of talent.

Daniel Roberts, representing the United States, brings not only his Olympic silver but also a 2023 World Championships bronze medal. Reflecting on his career, Roberts said, “Track has been my life for as long as I can remember, and it’s about always moving forward. Grand Slam Track feels like the right place to keep evolving as an athlete, and I’m ready to embrace that. I’m grateful for this opportunity and am excited to take my sport to new heights.”
Jereem Richards, a sprinter from Trinidad and Tobago specializing in the 200m and 400m, is a two-time Olympian and 2022 World Indoor Championships gold medalist. He shared his perspective on the sport: “Every race is a chance to tell a story about where I’ve come from and where I’m going. Grand Slam Track is the perfect platform for that. It’s not just about winning; it’s about showing the world my journey, one race at a time. I’m proud to represent Trinidad and Tobago in Grand Slam Track™ and eager to show the world what I’ve got.”
The addition of Roberts and Richards to Grand Slam Track™ marks a significant step in the league's growth, further enhancing its reputation as a platform for elite athletes.
What Is Grand Slam Track?
Grand Slam Track, created by four-time Olympic gold medalist Johnson, will feature four track events -- AKA Slams -- in 2025 where signed Racers and appearing Challengers will compete head-to-head in two events over the two-days Slams. Racers, including Kerley and Bednarek, will receive base compensation for competing in each Slam and can earn additional prize money based on their performances.
96 total athletes -- 48 Racers and 48 Challengers -- will compete in each Slam. Grand Slam has a reported prize pot of $12.6 million and the Category winners of Slam will win $100,000.
