At FloTrack, we’re all about movement—whether it's running, strength training, or traveling to the next big meet. This holiday season each team member brings a unique vibe and perspective, and that means we all rely on different tools to help us perform our best. From running shoes that feel like floating to recovery products that are essential after a hard workout, here’s what we love and why we recommend them.

Nia Gibson (@nia_gibson): The Hybrid Hottie – Mixing It Up with Style and Function

What’s Your Vibe?
I love to mix things up. Whether I’m running, lifting, doing a quick class, or walking my dog, I want gear that’s versatile and stylish enough to keep up with my high-energy lifestyle.

My Favorites:

  • Racer: Nike Pegasus Plus
These are my go-to shoes. They hit all my big three: stylish, comfortable, and protective. Plus, they come in pink—need I say more?

  • Apparel: Oiselle Glow Tights
Not only are these tights super flattering, but the quality is next-level. They’re comfortable enough for lifting but sleek enough for a run or yoga class.

  • Wearable: HRM-Fit Heart Rate Monitor
Since I do it all, I love tracking my heart rate to optimize my workouts. This monitor helps me understand what spikes my heart rate and how I can balance my different activities for maximum results.

  • Fuel: GU Energy Gels
Quick, effective, and easy on the stomach

  • Recovery: Firefly Recovery
I swear by this for reducing soreness and getting me back into form

  • Favorite Product:
Nike Pegasus Plus—because pink just makes everything better.

This outfit is both comfy and stylish. The leggings are sleek, and the Firecrack zip offers warmth and versatility. The On Crop adds the perfect pop of color.

  • Wearable: Firefly Recovery
This little device is a game-changer for on-the-go recovery. It’s small, compact, and helps speed up muscle recovery wherever I am.

  • Fuel: Gu Liquid Energy Gels
I was initially skeptical of the liquid form, but they go down easily and give me the energy boost I need without the hassle of thick gels.

  • Recovery: Cheribundi Tart Cherry Juice
A classic for recovery. It helps reduce muscle soreness and improve sleep, and I’ve been using it since my college track days.

Favorite Product:
The Nike Universa Leggings + On Movement Crop. It's my go-to for travel days or when I need a cute yet functional workout outfit.

Ashley Tysiac (@ashleytysiac): The Marathon Maniac – All About the Long Haul

What’s Your Vibe?
I’ve caught the marathon bug. Running is a huge part of my routine, and I love training for marathons and logging those long miles. I’m all about building endurance and pushing myself to new limits. I’ve run two marathons to keep me busy, I’ve got two on the docket for next year, and I’m sure I’ll continue to run them as long as my two legs can do it. I’m not a very flashy person, so I’m a big fan of darker colors. If you were to look at my closet, 75% of it is probably some shade of blue.

My Favorites:

  • Racer: Brooks Hyperion Elite 4
These are light, responsive, and perfect for marathon training. They’ve been great for my long-distance runs, and I can count on them for race day.

  • Trainer: Brooks Glycerin Max
The Glycerin Max is my daily trainer of choice. It’s like running on clouds. Super comfortable, with the support I need to tackle high-mileage weeks.

  • Apparel: Tracksmith Women’s Brighton Base Layer + Oiselle Glow Tights
I love Oiselle’s Glow Tights for the pockets and comfort, and Tracksmith’s Brighton Base Layer is perfect for chilly runs. The wool fabric keeps me warm while wicking away sweat.

  • Wearable: COROS Pace 3
I use the Pace 3 to log my runs and pair it with a heart rate monitor for accurate data. It’s a reliable tool that helps me track my progress.

  • Fuel: UCAN Edge Energy Gels
These liquid-like gels are my favorite for long runs. They don’t sit heavy in my stomach and provide a steady energy boost that lasts through the miles.

  • Recovery: Nuun Electrolyte Tablets
Hydration is key to recovery, and Nuun helps me stay replenished after a tough run, especially in the hot Texas heat.

Favorite Product:
The Brooks Glycerin Max. It feels like running on clouds—perfect for recovery days or high-mileage weeks.

Bryan Deibel (@bryandeibelmedia): The Tried and True Runner – Consistent and Reliable

What’s Your Vibe?
I’ve settled into a solid running routine of 30-40 miles a week. I try to balance my daily runs with workouts, long runs, and plenty of recovery.

My Favorites:

I love the pop and speed of these shoes. They’re perfect for fast-paced workouts and long-distance runs.

  • Trainer: Brooks Ghost Max 2
With a little extra cushion, these shoes have been a lifesaver for my daily runs. They provide great comfort and support without sacrificing performance.

  • Apparel: Tracksmith Session Shorts + Brighton Base Layer
Tracksmith’s products never disappoint. The Session Shorts hold up incredibly well over time, and the Brighton Base Layer is perfect for colder runs.

  • Wearable: COROS Pace 3
I rely on the COROS Pace 3 for all my training data. It’s an amazing tool for tracking and analyzing my running metrics.

  • Fuel: GU Energy Gels
For long runs and races, I always go with GU. It’s a classic, and it works every time.

  • Recovery: Firefly Recovery
I use Firefly for muscle recovery, especially when I’m traveling. It’s portable, effective, and easy to use on long flights.

Favorite Product:
The Ghost Max 2 has been my go-to trainer. It’s comfortable enough for everyday runs, and I never feel weighed down.

I’m always ready for anything, whether it's signing up for a random race or heading out for a spontaneous trail run. I need versatile gear that can handle whatever comes my way.

My Favorites:

  • Racer: Brooks Hyperion Elite 4
I’m all about feeling fast and responsive. These shoes deliver that with just the right balance of cushion and speed.

  • Trainer: Hoka Clifton 9
For everyday training, the Clifton 9 is a perfect fit. It’s comfortable, durable, and great for logging those miles.

  • Apparel: Under Armour Launch Elite Short Sleeve
I’m a big fan of Under Armour’s moisture-wicking tech. This shirt keeps me cool and dry, even on the treadmill.

  • Wearable: COROS Pace 3
I can’t get enough of the detailed data COROS provides. It’s perfect for tracking my inconsistent training and helps me keep track of my fitness.

  • Trainer: Brooks Hyperion Elite 4
I’ve relied on these for everything from daily runs to track sessions. They’re dependable, comfortable, and provide the perfect amount of responsiveness.

  • Apparel: Nike Dri-Fit ½ Zip Running Top
This top is my favorite for warm-ups or cold-weather runs. It’s light but warm enough, and it dries quickly.

  • Wearable: Garmin Forerunner 265
This watch is a workhorse. I use it for both running and lifting, and it holds up well in all situations.

  • Fuel: Ketone IQ
I’ve run all my marathon PRs with Ketone IQ as part of my fueling strategy.
