Jacious Sears is set to join the inaugural Grand Slam Track meet, which will take place in Kingston, Jamaica.

Fresh out of the University of Tennessee, Sears is making her professional debut this season and has already dominated the indoor circuit. She won her professional debut at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston with a time of 7.11 seconds, continued her success at the Millrose Games, where she clinched the 60m win with a time of 7.02 seconds, and finished second at the USATF Indoor Championships, narrowly being edged out by Celera Barnes by just 0.003 seconds.

Sears' seamless transition to the professional circuit makes her a strong competitor for the Grand Slam Track meet. She will compete in the short sprints division, where she will face a competitive field that includes established pros like Brittany Brown, Melissa Jefferson, Daryll Neita, and Gabby Thomas, among others. Sears' impressive indoor performances have caught the attention of the track and field community, positioning her as a rising star and a fierce contender. With her exceptional start to the season, she is poised to make a significant impact in the Grand Slam races and further solidify her place among the elite in the sport.

The Grand Slam Track series will span several months, with events in Kingston, Jamaica (April 4-6), Miami (May 2-4), Philadelphia (May 30-June 1), and Los Angeles (June 27-29). The meet will be broadcast on NBC/Peacock and the CW Network.
