Washington's Amanda Moll Resets NCAA Pole Vault Record At Big 10 Indoors

Amanda Moll is on a record-breaking tear.

Two weeks after the Washington standout set the women's pole vault collegiate record at 4.88m at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational, Moll raised the bar higher, clearing 4.91m at the 2025 Big Ten Indoor Championships to re-break her own NCAA all-time mark.

And not only is 4.91m a collegiate record, but it's also an improvement on Moll's world lead in the women's pole vault.

Moll, who is in her sophomore year at Washington, now sits among some of the top American women ever for the indoor pole vault. Only Jenn Suhr, Sandi Morris and Katie Moon have jumped 4.91m or higher in indoor track and field.

When Moll cleared 4.88m at Don Kirby, she became the first collegiate woman to ever clear 16-0. Now, she's the first to ever soar even higher than that mark.

After clearing 4.91m, Moll even raised the bar higher to attempt 5.00m, but failed to get over it. Moll's sister and fellow Washington teammate Hana Moll cleared the fourth-highest bar in the world this year in second, logging 4.81m.

But Moll isn't a stranger to breaking records. As a high schooler vaulting for Northwest Pole Vault Club, she set the indoor U.S. high school all-time best at the 2023 National Pole Vault Summit, clearing 15-1.5. Her sister Hana owns the high school outdoor national record of 15-1.5, which she set at the USATF Outdoor Championships in 2023.
