It's a relatively quiet weekend for US Track and Field fans, with most of the indoor season dying down.

Admittedly, I'm a little sad to see the indoor season come and go so quick, but with the remaining three weeks of action on the docket, we're going to soak in every minute.

So without further ado, here is everything you need to know about the weekend.

European Indoor Championships 2025

The 2025 European Indoor Track and Field Championships are slated for Thursday, March 6 through until Sunday, March 9. The Netherlands will host this year's championship, specifically in Apeldoorn.

The storylines for this years meeting are plentiful. Here are three quick hitters:

  1. Jakob Ingebrigtsen to complete the 1,500m and 3,000m double.
  2. Wave-lights will be used for the first time at the European Championships despite outrage from critics,
  3. Femke Bol is expected to run in her first races of the indoor season, starring in the mixed 4x400m and women's 4x400m relays.

The NYSPHSAA Indoor State Championships

Seven State Record Holders will be in the lineup for the New York State Meet this weekend, many of those serving as top Overall. Double that many can be counted for those found in the Top 10 All-Time, and it's safe to say track and field is back in New York

We'll have all of the action and more in the State of New York this Saturday, as the NYSPHSAA New Yrok State Indoor Championships head to Ocean Breeze.
