World Indoor Athletics Championships 2025 Day Three Highlights

The third and final day of the 2025 World Indoor Championships began just after 10 p.m. ET in Nanjing, China as the sports sprints through the indoor season and leaps into the summer season.

The first session of the final day was a quick one with two finals in the Women’s Long Jump and High Jump. 

The Women’s 60 Meter Hurdles Sem-Final also began in the morning session and the next two heptathlon events, the 60 Meters Hurdles and Pole Vault, commencing. 

The final session of the day will began from The Cube in Nanjing with an action-packed slate that will include the relay races which will end the meet.

Women's 4x400 Meter Relay Final

Anchored by Women's 400 Meter Silver Medalist Alexis Holmes, USA wins the final gold medal of the 2025 World Indoor Championships. It was the nation's sixth gold overall, the most of any country.

In an unsurprising result, USA cruises to victory in the men's 4x400m relay. The team consisted of all three podium members from the open 400m.

Jakob does it! Jakob Ingebrigtsen  becomes the first man to claim the 1500 meter / 3000 meter World Indoor Championships double gold since Haile Gebresilasie achieved the feat at the 1999 World Indoor Championships in Maebashi. American Luke Houser ran a strong race to finish third.
