While most eyes will be on the Tokyo Women's 10,000m and Tokyo Men's 10,000m at the 2025 running of The Ten, there are several other events to pay attention to in the night's proceedings. Set for Saturday, March 29, The Ten 2025 will produce some of the fastest times in the world this year, and all of the action will be streamed exclusively on FloTrack.

The Final Surge Men's 1,500m caught our attention for its inclusion of Tayvon Kitchen and Josiah Tostenson in its entries.

The two High School standout Crater HS teammates made history earlier this year, when they, joined by Owen Powell, broke 4-minutes in the mile at the BU Terrier DMR Challenge Last Chance Meet.

Tostenson, a University of Washington Commit, concluded his 2025 indoor season with a win in the Championship 2 Mile at New Balance Nationals Indoors. Meanwhile, Kitchen won the New Balance Indoor Nationals 5,000m with his 14:01.14.

The two national champions, with sub-four in their tool belts, will surely make an attempt at The Top 10 All-Time List, though Hobbs Kessler's 1,500m HS National Record may be out of reach. Kessler's mark of 3:34.36 is one of the more difficult national records in the books.

In 2021, Kessler smashed Alan Webb's former record of 3:38.26 by nearly four seconds at the Portland Track Festival. At the time, the mark was also faster than the collegiate record.

No one has come particularly close to Kessler's mark. Simeon Birnbaum currently sits US HS No. 2 All-Time with his 3:37.93.

Though the high schoolers will garner plenty of attention, Fouad Messaoudi (Oklahoma State) is one to watch from the collegiate side. Messaoudi is coming off of a fourth place finish in the mile at the 2025 NCAA Indoor Championship. He'll look to start his outdoor season on a high note.

Then there's Olin Hacker, the 2022 NCAA Outdoor 5,000m champion. He represents HOKA NAZ Elite and runs with a 3:36.43 1,500m PR.

The top seed belongs to Will Paulson. The Arizona State alum has a personal best of 3:33.97 over 1,500m, though he has struggled with injury since that 2022 season. In fact, he went over two years without racing, but is attempting to make his comeback in 2025.

The Elite Men's 1,500m will be run at 6:40 PM PT (9:40 PM ET)
