The Prefontaine Classic continues its impressive legacy with an exciting Olympic rematch in the women’s long jump. Tara Davis-Woodhall, Malaika Mihambo, and Jasmine Moore, the reigning gold, silver, and bronze medalists from the Paris 2024 Olympics, are set to compete. This thrilling matchup will take place at "Pre 50," a special edition of the meet celebrating its 50th anniversary. The event will be highlighted by a unique “Pre50” logo in a commemorative anniversary gold, with the classic Nike Swoosh at its center.

Tara Davis-Woodhall, the Olympic gold medalist, is returning to the Prefontaine Classic for the first time since 2022, this time with an updated resume. For Pre 50, she enters as both an Olympic gold medalist and a two-time World Champion, having won titles at both Indoor and Outdoor World Championships. Heading into the 2024 Paris Games, she was undefeated in the event, having set a personal best of 7.18 meters earlier that year. Keep an eye out for her signature cowboy hats and boots!

Malaika Mihambo, the Olympic silver medalist, will be making her Prefontaine Classic debut. While new to this meet, she’s no stranger to success. Mihambo comes with an Olympic gold medal from Tokyo, two World Outdoor Championships golds (2019 and 2022), and a 2019 Diamond League Championship title. Her impressive career highlights her championship pedigree, and she holds a personal best of 7.30 meters.

Jasmine Moore, the Olympic bronze medalist, is a versatile jumper who made history in Paris by becoming the first American woman to medal in both the long jump and triple jump in the same Olympic Games, earning a bronze in both events. Moore also achieved her personal best of 6.98 meters in the long jump at Hayward Field. The bronze medalist will also feature in Road to TrackTown: Season 3!

This lineup promises to deliver an unforgettable competition at the 50th anniversary of the Prefontaine Classic.
