Ishmael Kipkurui of New Mexico shattered the men’s NCAA 10k record, running an impressive 26:50.21 to take first place. Habtom Samuel also dipped under the previous collegiate record, finishing second with a time of 26:51.06.
In the women’s 10k, Elise Cranny and Weini Kelati went head-to-head, with Cranny pulling away in the final stretch to claim victory in 30:36.56.
Also noteworthy was the women’s 3200m, where Rylee Blade of Santiago Corona won with an impressive time of 10:00.56. In the men’s 1500m, Fouad Messaoudi claimed victory with a strong 3:35.55.
