It is a big weekend for Track and Field as the US kicks off the outdoor track and field season, while several southern hemisphere athletes get ready to rip in Melbourne at the Maurie Plant Meet.

Without further ado, below, you'll find everything you need to know about the weekend.

The TEN 2025

The Ten 2025 is slated for Saturday, March 29. The Tokyo Men's and Women's 10,000m races will headline the show as the best of the best chase national records and world standards over track's longest distance.

The fields feature the likes of Elise Cranny, Graham Blanks, Adriaan Wildshutt, Habtom Samuel, Weini Kelati and plenty of others.

"It'll be an entertaining race for sure on the men's side with many guys in the same boat. Blanks, Drew Hunter, Sean McGorty, Kirubel Erassa, Dillon Maggard and Ahmed Muhumed headline the U.S. pro men's field aiming to go to sub-27:00 for the first time. Looking at the men's field, only two athletes in the TOKYO 10k have gone below 27:00 before, -- Adriaan Wildschutt (26:50.64) and Habtom Samuel (26:53.84). Both hit those marks at The TEN last year.

Continental Tour: Maurie Plant Meet 2025

The Maurie Plant Meet will feature some of the most exciting up-and-coming names in the sport. Teenage sensations Cameron Myers, Sam Ruthe and Gout Gout will all toe the line in Melbourne. Letsile Tebogo is another name to watch, but the field is all-around star-studded.

One thing to be aware of for Track and Field fans is that this one starts early eastern on Saturday, March 29. The action will go live at 4 AM ET, and 1 AM PDT. US Fans will have to pull an all-nighter for this one, or watch the full archived replay on FloTrack on Saturday morning.
