As the 2025 Penn Relays approach, many schools are getting ready to prepare for intense competition nationwide.

Collegiate teams undoubtedly get a great deal of attention and arguably the most, aside from the athletes in the Olympic development class.

Some of the top college programs at the NCAA Division I level have announced that they will participate in the 129th annual edition of the relays at Franklin Field in Philadelphia starting on April 24.

Oregon, one of the best track and field teams in the country, is the only team coming across the West Coast to Pennsylvania for the three-day event. They hope to bring back home some hardware.

How Do The Penn Relays Work?

• The 2025 Penn Relays are a three-day track and field event comprising various relay races, such as 4 x100m, 4 x 200m, 4 x 400m, and 4 x 800m.
• Many heat, hurdle, and long-distance races round out the track portion of the event.
• Field events include shot put, discus, javelin, long jump, high jump, triple jump, and pole vault.
• All winning teams will be rewarded with an Penn Relays Wheel.
