Best race from Sunday?

The last day of USA champs entertained with surprise finishes, close calls, fast races and upsets. But what was the best race of the day?

Men's 400 Hurdles
We saw NCAA champ Jeshua Anderson, and Olympic medalists Bershawn “Batman” Jackson and Angelo Taylor finish within .01 seconds of each other to take the top three spots! The three men are now #2,3 and 4 in the world, respectively. (highlight video).

Men's 800
Nick Symmonds comfortably took the title, the experienced Khadevis Robinson took second, and newcomer Charles Jock from UC Irvine was third. While the potential showdown between Nick Symmonds and Robby Andrews over the final 200 meters never materialized, Symmonds turned in the 4th fastest time in the world this year. (video)

Women's Steeple
A dramatic fall over the last water pit in the women’s steeple by Stephanie Garcia allowed Delilah Dicrescenzo to nab third place after Colorado’s Emma Coburn and Bridget Franek. Coburn gets revenge over Franek from NCAA's last year (no video available)

Men's 200
Walter Dix ran sub 20 to win the men’s 200m, on top of his sub 10 victory in the 100m earlier. Sets himself to potentially win Gold in Daegu (in either event). (video)

Women's 100m hurdles
And finally, in the women’s 100m hurdles, Kellie Wells took her first USA outdoor title, set a PR and ran a world leading 12.50. She let her emotions shine through post-race, fist-pumping and laying down on the track – a celebration worthy of that performance. (video)
