2012 marks the second year of the Manzano Mile, an event that promotes the mile and fitness in and around the Austin community. The event was started by the man himself, Olympian Leo Manzano. Last year's event saw a great turn out that got the local community, media and fitness industry involved and aware of the sport and being active.

This year Leo made another great addition to the event adding a legit men's mile field. Flotrack will be on hand Saturday to potential see the first outdoor sub-4 mile in the state of Texas and only the second race of its kind in the world this year. Another interesting note is that the elite high school boys will line up on the starting line with the pros to give them a taste of what its like to race with the big guns.
