Flotrack Signs Exclusive Deal for the IAAF Indoor Meetings
Flocasts has signed an exclusive rights agreement for the IAAF World Meetings that includes the Flanders Indoor, British Athletics Grand Prix, and XL Galan to be streamed as part of the 2013 Flotrack Pro Live series. These three IAAF World Indoor Meetings will feature the world’s best athletes across all disciplines.

Flanders Indoor
Ghent, Belgium
After taking a year off, the Flanders Indoor Meeting returns in 2013 with a strong showing of international stars. French Olympian Christophe Lemaitre makes his debut in Belgium in the men’s 60m dash. The native Borlée brothers will continue their indoor season in two different events. Kévin Borlée will compete in the men's 300m while Jonathan Borlée will go up against Olympic silver medalist Lugelin Santos in the men's 400m.
The middle-distances include formidable athletes primed for top marks in the world. The men’s 800m features two sub-1:44 athletes from Kenya, Abraham Rotich and Anthony Chemut. World indoor 1500m bronze medalist Mekkonen Gebremedhin leads the field in the men’s 3000m, but should be challenged by a strong contingent of Kenyans that includes Vincent Rono, Paul Koech, Daniel Kipchirchir.
British Athletics Grand Prix
Birmingham, Great Britain
Widely considered as the world’s best indoor athletics event, the British Athletics Grand Prix should have yet another record-breaking meeting.
The double Olympic champion, Mo Farah, will make his only appearance this indoor season in the the men’s 3000m. The Nike Oregon Project member will fend off challenges from his fellow Britons, David Bishop, Tom Humphries, and Lee Emanual.
The Olympic champion, indoor World champion, world record holder at the 110m hurldes, Aries Merritt, will make his season debut.

XL Galan
Stockholm, Sweden
The XL Galan Meeting is known for its world record performances. Over the last 16 years, there have been five world indoor records and three world junior indoor records.
Again, the middle-distances on both the men’s and women’s side will be loaded by some of the world’s best.
The men’s 800m includes London Olympic finalist Mohamed Aman, bronze medalist Timothy Kitum, world indoor champion Abubaker Kaki, and European indoor champion Adam Kszczot.
In a small step up in distance, the men’s 1000m also boasts an impressive field. World indoor 1500m champion Abdelaati Iguider squares off against world championship silver medalist Silas Kiplagat, world indoor bronze medalist Andrew Osagie, European 1500m champion Henrik Ingebrightsen, and Dijbouti’s 3:30-man, Ayanleh Souleiman.
Running in her first race as a Swedish citizen, Abeba Aregawi will lead the women’s 1500m. Last season, she set the Ethiopian national record at the distance with her 3:56.54 finish in Rome.
