Remember when Ryan Hall absolutely threw down in Houston and shocked American distance running with a 59:43?
What about in 2011 when at the last moment Mo and Galen decided to jump into the NYC half after the Christ Church earthquake incident? Even with a fall, Galen finshed 3rd in 60:30 and Mo outkicked Gebre for the win.
Just for kicks, the American half marathon record holder before Hall, Todd Williams, rocking a mullet at Kinney Championships back in 1984.
