USATF Indoor Championships: Men's 60mH preview
The men’s 60m hurdles is a blast from not-so-distant past.

After his 7.46 PR from the Mondeville National Meeting on February 1, Jeff Porter is the top seed in the field. You might remember Porter from his third place finish at the 2012 Olympic Trials men’s 110mH (13.02). He was also third at the 2010 USATF Indoor Championships with a time of 7.62.

Now, he’s #2 in the world.

The man seeded right behind him is Jarret Eaton. The former Syracuse University star, who claimed the men’s 60mH title at the 2012 NCAA Indoor Championships, is #4 in the world with his 7.54 first place finish in Karlsruhe.

Then there’s Terrence Trammell. We talk about how Bernard Lagat is Father Time, but the 35-year-old Trammell has been around for what seems like forever. The double Olympic silver medalist (2000 and 2004) also has two world indoor titles (2001 and 2006).

Trammell has run three 60mH finals this winter and has been progressively dropping his season’s best. Most recently, he took the win at the Millrose Games in 7.57. He’s #9 in the world.
