Athletics Kenya bans athletes from DL
Athletics Kenya president Isaiah Kiplagat has announced that the federation will ban eight runners from competing at future Diamond League meetings due to "poor form."

According to The Daily Nation, World champions Asbel Kiprop, Eunice Sum and Milcah Chemos as well as World 3,000-meter steeplechase silver medalist Lydia Chepkurui, Purity Kirui, Alfred Kipketer, Collins Cheboi, and James Magut have all been barred from competition until further notice.

“We shall also demand for reports from their respective managers explaining why they have dipped in form. We are not fighting them but trying to help our athletes,” said Kiplagat.

Although it seems as if they were initially cleared to compete at the next two Diamond League Meetings, the Kenyan athletes will be unable to participate in the Rome and Oslo competitions on June 5th and June 11th, respectively.

Update: It appears that Kiprop, is in Rome and is going to run despite Athletic Kenya's threat.
