EUGENE, Oregon — The Oregon Ducks will debut new sixties-inspired uniforms at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene starting Wednesday at Hayward Field. The new uniforms pay tribute to the rich running history of the Oregon program.
The new uniforms, announced by GoDucks.com on Tuesday, show models wearing black, green, and blue tie-dyed singlets featuring silhouettes of legendary Oregon coach Bill Bowerman and seven-time NCAA champion Steve Prefontaine.
The uniforms also feature Nike’s new “AeroBlade” technology, the same technology that Team USA will wear on the 2016 Olympic Games uniform.
According to the weekly FloTrack team rankings, the Oregon men and women are each projected to finish second in the team race at the NCAA Championships.
