Uceny, Rowbury, Simpson, and Grunewald were the top four in that order at the last Trials. Grunewald made the final tonight after yesterday missing the 5K final and running the 1500 two hours later.
No current NCAA athletes made the final. But pros Mary Cain and Alexa Efraimson are a sophomore and freshman in college, respectively.
Brenda Martinez made the 1500m final after crashing out of the 800m final.
The most notable casualties of the semis were four-time U.S. champion Treniere Moser, 2013 world championships team member Cory McGee, 2015 worlds team member Kerri Gallagher, and high schoolers Christina Aragon and Kate Murphy.
