She may not be competing at the Olympic Games next month, but Keni Harrison can officially call herself the new world record-holder in the 100m hurdles. 

Harrison flew past the London Diamond League competition Friday night with a winning time of 12.20. The 23-year-old beat the entire Team USA squad headed to the Olympic Games. Americans Brianna Rollins (12.57), Kristi Castlin (12.59), and Nia Ali (12.63) followed Harrison for a 2-3-4 finish.

Harrison's winning time breaks the previous world record of 12.21 set by Yordanka Donkova in 1988. 

The performance is an extension of Harrison's record-breaking season after she shattered the American record last May at the Prefontaine Classic. 

Just a few weeks later in Eugene, Harrison experienced heartbreak when she failed to make the Olympic team headed to Rio. The American and now world record-holder finished sixth overall in the 100m hurdle final at the Olympic Trials, and watched Rollins, Castlin and Ali earn the top three spots.
