Here Is How To Correctly Spell Ghirmay Ghebreslassie
It's spelled "Ghirmay Ghebreslassie."
During yesterday's New York City Marathon, I was manning FloTrack's Twitter account. Eventual men's winner Ghirmay Ghebreslassie spells his name that way, not either of these two ways:
I feel 1% less stupid about these spelling errors as right now, LetsRun has his name misspelled under their quote of the day. It's Ghirmay (easy enough) Ghebreslassie (remember to put in an H after G, and no E after the first S). He's only 20. I better get this right over the next decade or two. Sorry, Ghirmay.
Men's pack of 12 includes Ritz, Abdi, and Shaddy plus new favorites Ghirmay Gebreslassie and Lucas Rotich https://t.co/LTafXCkl0C
