An associate producer writes fast, creative, and clean blog posts; shoots, produces, edits, and stars in videos; collaborates with our team to create content and decide the direction of the site; travels the world going to track meets interviewing athletes, coaches, and agents; reports news and files public record requests; has an original spin on the news; appears on and hosts podcasts; and builds relationships in the track and running world.

If you can and have done most of that stuff, definitely apply for the job here. If you have done some of that, but not all of it, apply anyway. We're happy to put your unique skills to work.

Our past and current staffers have majored in everything from theater to engineering, so don't be scared off if you don't have a journalism or communications degree. We're based in Austin, Texas, and you'll spend lots of time traveling the United States and the world.
