Women's 60m and 200m
Who: Hannah Cunliffe, Deajah Stevens, Ariana Washington
When: 60m final (Saturday, 2:10 PM), 200m final (Friday, 7:15 PM)
Why: The Oregon sprint trio of Hannah Cunliffe, Deajah Stevens and Ariana Washington are set to compete in the 60m and 200m this weekend. Cunliffe is fresh off of setting an NCAA lead of 7.13 in the 60m dash at the Columbia East-West Challenge. In the same meet, Stevens set an NCAA lead in the 200m with a victory in 22.65. Cunliffe's and Stevens' performances also stand as world leads in their respective events. Stevens is competing after a breakthrough 2016 season in which she made her first Olympic team and finished seventh in the final. This weekend will mark the third competition of 2017 for Washington who is returning from winning NCAA titles in the 100m and 200m at the 2016 NCAA Outdoor Championships. At the Columbia East-West Challenge, Washington notched a 7.30 in the 60m and a 23.16 in the 200m.
Women's 400m
Who: Sage Watson
When: Saturday, 1:20 PM
Why: Arizona's Sage Watson is returning from breaking the NCAA and Canadian record in the indoor 500m at the Armory Invitational. Watson ran 1:08.40, which makes her the No. 5 indoor performer all time, according to AllTimeAthletics.com. The performance carried momentum from Watson's impressive 2016 season in which she finished third in the 400m hurdles at the NCAA championships and went on to compete for Canada in the Olympic Games, where she reached the semifinal.
Women's 60m hurdles
Who: Sasha Wallace, Alaysha Johnson
When: Saturday, 12:30 PM
Why: Oregon's Sasha Wallace is already off to a great start in 2017. At the Columbia East-West Challenge, Wallace notched an NCAA lead and personal best of 7.91 in the 60m hurdles. Last year, Wallace finished third in the 100m hurdle final at the NCAA Outdoor Championships and reached the semifinal of the U.S. Olympic Trials. Her teammate Alaysha Johnson will also be competing after setting a season's best of 8.09 at the Columbia East-West Challenge. Her mark puts her No. 6 on the NCAA indoor list.
Men's Mile
Who: Anthony Rotich, Dillon Maggard
When: Saturday, 11:20 AM
Why: Former UTEP NCAA champion Anthony Rotich will be returning to Albuquerque to run the mile once again. Last weekend, Rotich helped pace his training partner Jonah Koech to an altitude-converted sub-four-minute mile. While in college, Rotich won the 2014 NCAA indoor mile at the Albuquerque Convention Center as well as three NCAA steeplechase titles.

Who: Sophie Connor, Ednah Kurgat
When: Saturday, 11:50 AM
Why: New Mexico will be bringing their stars--Sophie Connor and Ednah Kurgat--to run the mile. Connor, a 4:13 1500m runner, is returning from running a solid 4:43 mile opener at the New Mexico Team Invitational. With the altitude conversion applied, Connor's mark converts to a 4:36 and ranks No. 9 in the NCAA. Kurgat, who is entered unattached, is returning from setting a 4:46 mile personal best at the same meet. Her mark would convert to a 4:39. Before transferring to New Mexico from Liberty, Kurgat notched personal bests of 15:47 in the 5K and 34:38 in the 10K.

Who: Marcus Chambers, CJ Allen
When: Saturday, 12:40 PM
Why: The men's 400m will be a showdown between Pac-12 conference champions--Oregon's All Marcus Chambers and Washington State's CJ Allen. Chambers is fresh off of 200m, 400m, and 4x400m victories at the Columbia East-West Challenge, where he claimed a personal best of 20.78 in the 200m and set an 400m season's best of 46.62, which ranks No. 10 in the NCAA. Last year, Allen finished 12th in the 400m hurdles at the NCAA preliminary round. So far this season, Allen has notched a personal best of 8.04 in the 60m hurdles.
