Vincent Crisp Runs Fastest Collegiate Time Ever For 600 Yards
Texas Tech junior Vincent Crisp ran the fastest collegiate time ever in the indoor 600 yard. Crisp ran 1:08.16 to take 0.1 seconds off the previous mark.
Texas Tech junior Vincent Crisp posted the fastest indoor collegiate mark of all time over 600 yards on Friday. Competing at the Texas Tech Red Raider Invitational in Lubbock, Texas, Crisp ran 1:08.16 and held off TCU’s Derrick Mokaleng, who ran 1:08.18.

For reference, 600 yards is just over 548 meters.
According to USTFCCCA, Roddie Haley of Arkansas previously held the record — a 1:08.26 clocking from 1987.
Crisp has outdoor personal bests of 47.26 in the 400m and 1:47.66 in the 800m.
