Probable Top Five:

FR Dennis Kipkorir (14:30)
FR Caden Hercules (9:19 3200; 3rd at ’17 AZ State XC)
Impact Freshmen/Transfers:
Thobile Mosito via Cloud County CC (14:34 5K; 14th at ’17 NJCAA XC; 3x NJCAA Champ)
Dennis Kipkorir via Kenya (14:30)
Caden Hercules via Chandler, AZ (9:19 3200; 3rd at ’17 AZ State XC)
Analysis:
Head coach Keith Vroman’s squad will be led by a strong Kenyan 1-2 punch in Kigen Chemadi and Jacob Choge, both of which should flirt with top-25 individual finishes. Behind this duo will be junior college transfer Thobile Mosito, a three-time NJCAA champion who finished 14th at the NJCAA cross country championships last year.
Outside of the top-three the Middle Tennessee State men will look to incoming freshmen Dennis Kipkorir from Kenya and Caden Hercules from Chandler, Arizona. If Mosito, Kipkorir, and Hercules can translate well to the 10k distance in their first NCAA seasons then the Blue Raiders will be in the conversation for a top-15 finish in 2018.
