Analysis:

The Villanova Wildcats will once again be a top-15 program led by incoming star freshman Taryn O’Neil from Canada. O’Neil had a strong summer this year finishing 9th in the 3k at the IAAF World U20 Championships and has personal bests of 4:15/9:15 for the 1500/3k.

While a freshmen should lead the Wildcats this year her supporting cast will be a quartet of seniors. Nicole Hutchinson, Bella Burda, Caroline Alcorta, and Kaley Ciluffo will round out a strong top-5 for the Wildcats. Hutchinson will look to improve as the No. 2 stick after a great track season, 9:09 3k and 15:46 5k. Burda and Ciluffo return from a top-100 XC finishes. And, UNC transfer Caroline Alcorta will debut for the Wildcats after qualifying for the NCAA 10K final this past season.
