Analysis:
The Michigan women come into this season ranked seventh after finishing ninth in 2017. The Wolverines will be led by veterans Avery Evenson, Claire Borchers and Haley Meier. Evenson finished in the top-20 two years ago and hopes to reclaim that magic in her final season with the Wolverines. Borchers and Meier also look to improve on their 2017 performances after strong track campaigns this past spring.
Outside of these three women Michigan will look to new faces to fill out their roster. Baylor transfer Anna West who was an All-American in 2017 should help the squad remain podium contenders. Also, incoming freshman Olivia Theis will have an instant impact on the team. Theis was third at Foot Locker her senior season.
A mixture of youth, new faces, and veteran returners will propel the Wolverines to another top ten finish in 2018.
