Coach's Insight: "It’s really a new team developing. We had such great leadership from Mikiah [Brisco] and Aleia [Hobbs]. We do have obviously Kortnei Johnson returning who scored at NCAA indoors and outdoors in the 200m false-started in the preliminary round. She’s a sprinter that ran under 11 seconds last year, so she’s going to be someone to deal with. Along with her, the new freshmen have meshed well. Rachel Misher, who also ran on our 4x100 relay, literally I think can be very competitive at either the 200 or 400; I’m not sure exactly how we will use her during the indoor season. But she ran outstanding legs on that relay that ran 42.05 last year, so we’ve been really impressed with her development too."
