Grant Holloway Runs 6.51 60m, #9 NCAA History
Grant Holloway's 2019 season is off to a scorching start.
Florida junior Grant Holloway had never run the 60m dash in college before this weekend, but that didn’t stop the four-time individual NCAA champ from running one of the best marks in collegiate history on Saturday at the Razorback Invitational.
Holloway torched a 6.51 in the 60m final, ninth-fastest in NCAA history and a school record for the 21-year-old 60m hurdles collegiate record holder. 6.51 is the fastest time in the world in 2019.

Holloway ran 6.59 earlier in the day in the prelims.
The 2018 Bowerman finalist has competed in the 60m hurdles, long jump and the 4x400m at NCAA Indoor each of his first two seasons, but his performance in Fayetteville may force he and Florida coach Mike Holloway to consider adding the 60m to his nationals schedule in Birmingham this March.
