NCAA Distance Stars Transfer To Washington

According to multiple sources, two of the top men’s distance/cross country transfers will be heading to the University of Washington this fall: Iowa State’s Andrew Jordan and San Francisco’s Jack Rowe.

The addition of these two senior transfers immediately puts coach Andy Powell’s squad in the cross country team title conversation with BYU and Northern Arizona. Washington returns four men from their sixth-place team finish and will now add two potential cross country All-Americans in Jordan and Rowe, along with a strong freshman class that includes sub-4:00 miler from New Zealand Sam Tanner.

Washington’s Projected Top 6:

SR Andrew Jordan (13:44 5K; 15th at ’17 NCAA XC)

JR Tibebu Proctor (28:54 10K; 38th at ’18 NCAA XC)

SR Jack Rowe (28:50 10K; 83rd at ’18 NCAA XC)

JR Talon Hull (7:59 3K; 80th at ’18 NCAA XC)

SO Alex Slenning (8:43 3K SC)

FR Samuel Tanner (3:58 Mile)
