Brissett, who was runner-up in the 100m hurdles at the 2019 NCAA outdoor championships, will have two seasons of outdoor eligibility remaining and one indoors. The 20-year-old Philadelphia native set her 12.52 100m hurdles personal best in that NCAA final last June in Austin.
Joining Longhorn head coach Edrick Floreal’s training group comes with the perks of working alongside 100m hurdles world record holder Keni Harrison. Coach “Flo” has had numerous NCAA champions in the hurdles, most recently Jasmine Camacho Quinn (100mH) and Sydney McLaughlin (400mH) in 2018 while at Kentucky.
