FloTrack will broadcast the 2021 Berlin Marathon live in select territories on September 26th. The race, which is part of the Abbott World Marathon Majors, is available on FloTrack in Canada, the UK, Ireland, Turkey, Italy, the Baltics, Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong. The 2022 and 2023 editions of the race will also be streamed on FloTrack.

Berlin regularly features star-studded fields, filled with fast times and world records. This year is no exception.

This year's race features three-time Olympic champion and two-time Berlin Marathon champion, Kenenisa Bekele. 

In 2019, Bekele won the Berlin Marathon in 2:01:41, just two seconds behind Eliud Kipchoge's world record that was set in Berlin in 2018. Challenging Bekele this year will be Guye Adola, runner-up at the 2017 Berlin Marathon, and Eliud Kiptanui, the second place finisher in Berlin in 2015. 

In the women's race, Hiwot Gebrekidan will be looking for her second marathon win of 2021. In May, Gebrekidan won the Milan Marathon in 2:19:35, taking more than four minutes off her personal best. Three other women in the field have personal bests under 2:21--Purity Rionoripo, Amane Beriso and Shure Demise.
