Flotrack had the unique opportunity to cover the 1000 Mile Running Club at San Quentin State Prison. Our editing staff put together a fantastic piece featuring the club, and we want to show you some of the additional footage from Kevin Selby's visit inside of the facility that houses California's worst criminals.The 1000 Mile Club has been in existence for 10 years, and the focus of their training is the marathon run each November. Team members run 105 laps around the exercise yard to complete the 26.2 mile distance.San Quentin State Prison is located in Marin County. It sits on the shores of San Francisco Bay about 17 miles north of San Francisco.
