Wheels: Series Hill Repeats
This is a workout learned from Coach Stan Huntsman at the University of Texas. This workout starts at the top or bottom of three intersecting hills. One wheel involves running each hill once, fartlek style with an easy downhill/hard uphill pattern. One of the great things about this workout is the hills will vary in grade, length and sometimes terrain. The workout in this video was filmed on June 24, 2009 starting at 6pm. We meet every Wednesday evening at 6pm at the RunTex in Georgetown. The group is free and open to all levels. The clip shows the warm up, drills, workout and cool down. Hope you enjoy.
