Meet Oscar Pistorius. Oscar is a double amputee athlete that is on the verge of become the first athlete with prosthetics to compete in a major able-body Championship. Pistorius was born without the fibula bones in his legs which resulted in his legs being amputated when he was only 13 months old. Oscar, originally a rugby player, has gone through some road bumps throughout his career including getting banned by the IAAF to compete in able-body competition.
