Lucy Van Dalen of Stony Brook Before NCAAs

After a long season with no decisive favorite, Stony Brook's Lucy Van Dalen will be the only undefeated woman lining up at NCAAs on Monday. She took down a stacked field at Notre Dame with teams like Villanova, Oregon, Washington, and Florida State in the race. Next she won her PreNationals race, the American East Championships, and the Northeast Regional. Her twin sister Holly finished 2nd in the latter two races.
